To be eligible for admission, you will need to complete all of the following documents:
Copy of the personal information page of your passport. Email copy of passport to iip@miracosta.edu
Submit a copy of all your official school transcripts with Certified English translations. Screenshots are not accepted.

- US and/or International, if attended
- For students lookig to transfer their coursework completed outside the United States, MiraCosta accepts international transcript evaluations that have been evaluated by an approved evaluation service accredited by the . Please consult with our academic counselor before sending your transcripts to an evaluation service. For more information, visit the .
Once admitted, you will need to provide original official transcripts from each school upon your arrival to campus. If students complete additional classes after admission, a final official transcript must be received before the first day of class.

If you do not have an English proficiency test score and are interested in our noncredit English Language program, consider enrolling in the English Language Institute (ELI).
Submit an Affidavit of Financial Support signed by sponsor.
Submit official bank letter or statement from you or your financial sponsor* showing a minimum of $28,500 USD. Bank statements must be in English (funds do not have to be shown in USD) and show the issue date within the past 5 months of submission.
* We do not accept income statements, proof of mortgage, retirement savings plan such as 401K, stocks, bonds, and investments.

Getting Accepted
Complete Application
Once we finalize the admission review process, you will receive an acceptance letter by email, which will includes next steps to prepare for enrollment and arrival.
Deferring Application
If you have decided not to attend MiraCosta for the semester you applied for, you may defer your admission to a future semester by emailing iip@miracosta.edu and indicate the semester you wish to attend.
Incomplete Application
If your application is incomplete, you will receive a follow-up email with a list of the required document(s). Please make every effort to email all required documents before the application deadline.
Concurrent Enrollment without SEVIS I-20 Transfer
If you are an international students studying at another school in the Unites States and would like to take a course at Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ without transferring, please visit the Concurrent Enrollment webpage.
