Core Purpose and Goals
The primary function of the Caring Campus (CC) Working Group is to identify and implement behavioral commitments among professional staff to improve students’ and employees’ sense of connectedness to the college.
Key goals and responsibilities include:
- Improving relationships among employees and increasing work satisfaction.
- Working with the Classified Senate and other constituents to implement activities that support student and employee connectedness.
- Identifying the core values that influence the actions, events, and initiatives undertaken by the Caring Campus.
- Ensuring that staff are equipped with resources and support so that students and employees can go from being interested in enrolling and or applying all the way through program completion and or the employee lifecycle, seamlessly, and know where to go and who to contact in case any needs arise.
