The CCPG (formerly called the BOG Fee Waiver) is a program that helps students by paying their $46 per unit enrollment fees if they qualify. You might still get the CCPG even if you don鈥檛 qualify for other types of financial aid. We strongly recommend filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) to apply.

What Does the CCPG Cover?
- Covers $46 per unit enrollment fees
- Covers parking fees over $20 per semester (not including summer or short-term decals)
- Does NOT cover the $19 health fee or the $1 per unit student center fee (for Method B and C students)

How Do I Qualify for CCPG?
There are three ways (called 鈥淢ethods鈥) to qualify:
- Method A: You or your family gets help from programs like CalWORKs, SSI, or General Assistance. Some dependents of veterans or people affected by 9/11 may also qualify. You may need to show proof.
- Method B: You have a low family income based on past tax information. You must complete the FAFSA or CADAA. It can take 2鈥3 weeks to process.
- Method C: If you don鈥檛 qualify under A or B, you might still qualify based on financial need. You must fill out the FAFSA or CADAA. This also takes about 2鈥3 weeks to process.
More Things to Know
- We鈥檒l process your CCPG 3鈥5 days after we get your FAFSA or CADAA.
- You must list MiraCosta鈥檚 school code (001239) on your application.
- You must be a California resident or be eligible for AB 540.
- You only need to apply once per school year. If you apply in Fall, it covers Fall, Spring, and Summer.
- The CCPG does not cover books or give you a loan.
- You can take any number of units (1 to 21 or more) and still get the fee waiver.
